Nothing says fall like a wagon ride out to the pumpkin field — and Naperville families do not have to drive far. Keller’s Farmstand grows a big pick-your-own patch just outside town on US-34 in Oswego, and within roughly half an hour you will find Abbey Farms in Aurora (corn maze, zip lines, petting zoo), Johansen Farms in Bolingbrook, and Sonny Acres’ classic fall fest in West Chicago. We have also included two living-history farms — Blackberry Farm and Kline Creek Farm — that make a wonderful fall outing even without a patch.
